Spey Fishery Board Public Consultation 2024

The Spey District Salmon Fishery Board finds itself with an opportunity, with the resignation of its Director of 18 years, to look to its future and wishes to consider, along with its stakeholders, how it might operate going forward. The Board has compiled a Consultation paper and would be grateful if you would take the time to consider and respond to it.

This consultation is being sent to all of the Spey’s Proprietors and Ghillies, as well as being advertised on the Board’s website and through our social media channels so that we can attract as many responses as possible from all those who have an interest in the future management of the River Spey and its iconic Atlantic salmon.

We would be grateful if you could send your response by close of business on Thursday the 20thJune at the latest.

How to Participate

We invite all stakeholders, including proprietors, ghillies, and anyone with an interest in the future of the River Spey, to review the Consultation Paper and provide their responses using one of the options below:
