It has been great weather for most tourists, all except angling visitors that is. We have had sunshine every day, with a falling river and rising air, and river, temperatures. There was low cloud cover… 

It was a glorious week on Speyside with plenty sunshine, especially towards the end of the week. There was a strong wind too, it appeared almost autumnal with the trees shedding leaves and needles. The… 

The weather improved this week, or at least if you are a salmon fisher, it did. Cooler temperatures and spells of rain put the river up mid week with a second rise on Saturday, and… 

With reasonably settled weather for most of last week, the river remained on the low side. It wasn’t until the latter half that we saw significant cloud cover and some rain.  This lifted the water…
